$150 Million Bigby Project to Complete Developer's Vision for Cool Springs

June 9, 2017

Bigby will be the name of the $150 million mixed-use project that Charlotte, N.C.-based developer Crescent Communities plans for its last piece of land in Cool Springs.

On Friday, the co-developer of the 10-building Corporate Centre office campus in Cool Springs provided new renderings and details on the project planned at the intersection of East McEwen Drive and Carothers Parkway in Franklin. The Bigby name comes from the Bigby-Cannon limestone formation around the site and in Middle Tennessee.

On the 23.6-acre property once envisioned solely for office use, Cresent Communities now plans 350,000 square feet of commercial office and retail space, 330 luxury apartments, 15 town homes and a 200-room boutique hotel. Site work could start next year, with buildings rising in 2019 and occupancy by year's end 2020 and 2021.
